Join us at Derby College for a mini family festival in a day, celebrating everything book related. We have so much going on to entertain and delight; here are the highlights....
- Come and spend your National Book Token and get your free book.
- Dress up as your favourite book character (optional).
- Bring books that you've already read and swap them for new to you books!
- Watch as poets, authors and performers entertain you on the Roundhouse stage.
- Take part in 'drop in' art, poetry and illustration activities.
- Book into fun sessions and workshops happening in the Engine Shed and Carriage Shop.
- Meet and chat to local authors and illustrators.

Grab your free tickets to what is set to be a brilliant day for Derby to celebrate stories, words, pictures, language and the brilliance of books! We want everyone to come but if you can afford to support us and this event, we would gratefully receive a donation. All donations will be split between Derby Book Festival and the World Book Day charity.
