Join Derby-based authors Tom Mead and Jane Bettany as they reveal how to commit murder (of the fictional variety!). They’ll be discussing the authors that have inspired them, the essential elements of the crime fiction genre and uncovering some of the secrets of writing and plotting a murder mystery.
Tom Mead is the author of historical crime fiction set in the 1930s, featuring magician Joseph Spector and Inspector Flint.
Jane Bettany writes the Derbyshire-set DI Isabel Blood crime novels and a cosy crime series featuring amateur sleuth Violet Brewster.
